I'd made the flowers---I still have about 5 or 6 left---quite a while ago, while on a cruise---but didn't know quite how to use them--I decided on this choker

whatcha think?

Trying Something New!

Like I don't have enough going on! heh heh

I just 'joined' Shabby Lane Shops--I'm putting my pixies and elves in this shop, along with having some in etsy at http://suchandsort.etsy.com

I've collected these little guys for about 15 years, and they've taken over our house--my kids say they watch them with their little pixie eyes---you can see what they think of my collection! ;>)

Since they have taken over and my hubby's coke collectibles have taken over the rest of the house, I guess I have to be the one to start destashing---some of the pixies have to go--but they're so cute---well, kinda strange, but still cute!

Check me out at http://shabbylaneshops.ning.com/ marilyn goodman
( my pictures haven't been 'okayed' yet, but hopefully they'll soon be on my page!)

The pixies/elves I posted here are just of few---they are a little weird, huh? But if I like them---there has to be someone else out there who likes them----right? ;>)

I just left there, after checking out all the gorgeous beadweaving and reading the beadweavers blog--

The bunnies are here!!!!

I have been working on these for months--every time I'd work on them, i'd ask myself--why, oh why, did i ever start these ;>)

Because, ya know, they're for the twinnies and just one would never do. They were crocheted in parts, stuffed and then sewn together---my family thinks they're a little 'funny-lookin'--but....they're finished and they're full of candy for tomorrow- and the girlies will like them, no matter if they're 'funny-lookin' or not!

Remind me never to start anything like this again!

Yayyy for 1000markets and beadweavers!

Beadweavers are the best! ;>)

The Beadweaving Emporium has been approved as a new market on 1000 Markets and will soon be open!

As beadweavers, we felt we needed a market of our own, to showcase our completely unique pieces of jewelry and bead woven art. The market will be managed by a team of 8 merchants who joined together for this common creative venture. We are in the process of building the marketplace and will soon begin taking membership requests.

The Founding Merchants and Management team are as follows: (alphabetical order by shop name)

• BeadazzledofOregon – Dini Alves – Team Leader

• BeadedExtravagance - Louisa Meece

• BeadsForever - Linda Roberts

• Cigarboxbeads - Marilyn Goodman

• ConlinsCreations - Amanda Conlin

• HidingPlaceBeadery - Karen Gill

• RachelesOriginals – Rachele Dagley – Team Leader

• Thebeadedlily - Sarah Kelley

so-------my beaded goodies are now on etsy and i'm an 'etsybeadweaver' and on 1000Markets where i'm in the Beadweaving Emporium!

Check out all the great beadweaving at both sites--be prepared to drool! ;>)

( ps---the cuff of cranes bracelet has been lengthened and mailed off to a peyote cuff lover, Diane! ;>) )

Well- It's been a month- I said I'd be back in a day- ack! ;>)

I'm honored that Susan of Red Bess Bonney passed on this wonderful Marie Antoinette blog award to me! From her blog "our dear Marie did more than wave a cake fork around and perhaps that is the mystery behind this intriguing award. What I take away from all this is, if you are a special woman ~ strong, out-spoken, and willing to stand up and be heard for what you believe in ~ you may see Marie gracing your blog sometime soon."

Now for the rules of this award. The rules are as follows...
1. Please put the logo on your blog.
2. Place a link to the person from whom you received the award.
3. Nominate at least 7 or more blogs.
4. Put links of those blogs on your blog.
5. Leave a message on their blogs to tell them. And that's it!
